The New Orleans Regional Black Chamber of Commerce, one of our Coalition members, is providing free bike racks to their new and existing members!
The Regional Black Chamber partnered with Bike Easy to provide bike racks, which park 10 bikes per rack, to encourage safe and equitable transportation to local black-owned businesses. Members of the Chamber can apply to be awarded one of these installations at a value of $1,500.
PJ’s Coffee at 5733 Read Blvd in New Orleans East was the first business to be awarded the installation from this program. Members of the Coalition, the Regional Black Chamber, Media, and Community Members came together on Sunday April 25th to celebrate the first install and announce the joint effort!
