Due to weather, this event was postponed and is now happening on July 3rd.
June 19th is Juneteenth and we’re inviting you to celebrate with us!
I’m Dwan Adams, New Orleans Complete Streets Coalition’s Campaigns Coordinator and one of the organizers of Let’s Get Loud NOLA 2021. On Saturday, June 19th we’re organizing a commemorative, community-led 20-mile bike ride and 5k run/walk to celebrate all the ways Mayor Cantrell’s Moving New Orleans Bikes plan will bring more safety and less stress to our communities. We’ve also tapped over 30 community partners to bring the streets of NOLA alive with art, culture, music and more!

We hope you’ll also join us for our Opening Happy Hour at the Pythian Market, June 18th from 4:00-7:00pm. Uncle Nearest, Inc. will be sponsoring the event, so come hang and grab a drink with us.
This celebration will activate the streets of New Orleans by showcasing how our vibrant ecosystem of cyclists, runners, cultural bearers, and community leaders can and will use Complete Streets to uplift our communities. Over the next year, the City of New Orleans is planning to build 75 miles of protected and connected bikeways that will bring more safety and less stress to our roads. Whether it’s connecting New Orleans’ neighborhoods, ensuring that our people can move around safely, or using our streets to celebrate, New Orleans’ cultural community needs Complete Streets.
Thank you for your supporting us and yes, we’d love if you shared this event with your community!
